A man scammed a vulnerable pensioner of thousands of pounds on New Year’s Eve.
Officers were called on December 31 to a report of a 79-year-old woman who had been a victim of a scam.
A man reportedly entered her property on Melrose Avenue, Worthing, claimed to do work for the victim and then charged her.
It is believed the man took thousands of pounds from her.
Police want to speak to a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
Anyone who recognises the man, or has any information, is urged to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 1172 of 31/12.
