A burger chain has opened a new kitchen at a bar in the city.

After opening its first location in Brighton last year, The Burger Barn is now offering its homemade food at The Bear Inn in Lewes Road.

Options on the menu include an all-day build-your-own breakfast, hot dogs and “pub classics”, such as bangers and mash.

It also includes a range of burgers, including their most popular item, The Wrangler, which has three patties, three slices of Sussex cheddar and bacon.

A spokesman for The Burger Barn said: “This will now be our third restaurant and we’re really excited further into central Brighton. We have had a tremendous response from the regular and local customers over the new menu.

“With the bus garage and all the links to central Brighton from here, we are thrilled to be offering our homemade products to both the pub’s customers and local workers.”

A spokeswoman for The Bear said: “We’re delighted to be working with The Burger Barn. Having just taken over The Bear as manager and now getting food running here we’ll be able to offer our customers a fantastic experience both dining inside and out in the gorgeous beer garden.”
