The Bat and Ball Country Pub in Wisborough Green held an intimate and successful Valentines Day event. With over 74 customers who enjoyed a bespoke three-course meal; the evening was extremely well perceived.


The restaurant frequently holds themed evenings to attract customers in the less busy, winter periods. For example, a Chinese New Year dinner where the restaurant was decorated and the menu adapted to the celebration. But, the Valentine's evening was extraordinarily successful. With a fully booked and incredible turn out the customers were thrilled.


The evening included live music to complement the moody, candlelit atmosphere. The menu included divine Cornish Rock Oysters, a Fillet of Halibut as well as multiple sharing options such as the Tapas Board and Dry Aged Cote de Boeuf.


Overall, customers and staff enjoyed the incredibly organised evening. One attendee stated that the evening was “very memorable” and she would “definitely recommend”.
