A new Co-op store opened on Thursday.

The store, in Eastbourne Road, Uckfield, was officially opened by the new team and store manager James Thirlway.

Local primary school children helped to cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony.

The supermarket will open daily from 7am until 10pm.

Shoppers will be able to access free parking, a cash machine, an in-store bakery, and a Costa Coffee Express machine.
