Albion fans have been stabbed and robbed in Rome city centre.
Italian news service Agenzia Nova said that two men were attacked in Via Cavour at midnight last night. The attack was confirmed by an Albion supporter in the city this morning.
An Albion fan said on the North Stand Chat fan forum that he had been "stuck in a hospital corridor for six hours" waiting to be treated but was not badly hurt.
Agenzia Nova said staff from nearby restaurants raised the alarm after witnessing the attack on fans in Rome for tonight's Europa League match.

The news agency said police were called and two men, aged 27 and 28, were "injured by punches and stabs".
A gang of six or seven people with their faces covered are reported to have carried out the attack and stolen their wallets.
The incident happened not far from the Colosseum.
Albion fans are in Rome for the first leg of their Europa League Round of 16 match against AS Roma.
