A man who was arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died at a house has been bailed.
Emergency services were called to the woman was "in medical distress" at a home in Skylark Avenue, Peacehaven, on Monday afternoon.
Yesterday, police confirmed that a 40-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder and administering a noxious substance.
Now the force has confirmed the man has been released on bail.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Despite the efforts of paramedics, the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"The suspect has been released on bail. The family are being supported by specialist officers."
