Drivers faced chaos on the A23 this morning after a car overturned.
Traffic ground to a halt on the northbound carriageway heading towards London after the vehicle flipped earlier this morning.
Motorists were forced to a standstill near Handcross. The gridlock mean long delays.
The A23 has reportedly reopened but the delays continue.

It is understood a car overturned between Handcross and Pease Pottage, near the M23.
Sussex Police were approached for comment.
