A man has suffered multiple injuries after a 'shocking' attack in Glasgow.
The 51-year-old was assaulted on Moorfoot Street in Carntyne in the city's East End at around 9pm on Monday, May 13.
He was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which cops are describing as serious.
The incident is now being probed by detectives who are following a positive line of enquiry, however, they are still urging any potential witnesses to get in touch.
Detective Sergeant Peter Chatham of CID said: "This is a shocking attack which left the victim with multiple serious injuries.
“We are following a positive line of enquiry, but I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the assault or has any information to please come forward.
“Motorists with dashcam footage you may have captured something that could assist our investigation, so we would be keen to hear from you also.
