Several sections of the M25 are set to close overnight this weekend for maintenance and repair work.

The closures, running from Saturday, May 18, to Sunday, May 19, will affect various carriageways, slip roads and link roads both clockwise and anticlockwise on the motorway.

M25 closures - Saturday, 18 May

Starting at 10pm on May 18 until 5am the following day, the M25 clockwise Junction 31 entry slip road will be closed.

Drivers will need to follow diversions via the National Highways network, during the road closure for tunnel maintenance.

Between Junction 6 and Junction 5, the anticlockwise carriageway including the Junction 6 entry slip on the M25 will be closed from 10pm on Saturday until 6am on Sunday

The closure is as a result of barrier repairs, with diversions running via Local Authority roads.

The M25 anticlockwise carriageway from Junction 13 to Junction 12 is also set for closure this Saturday, including link roads to the M3 Eastbound and Westbound at Junction 2.

This will be closed from 10pm till 5.30am on Sunday, May 19 for resurfacing and loop repairs.

Diversions will be via local authorities.

At the same time, the M25 clockwise carriageway from Junction 25 to Junction 27, along with the entry slip roads at Junctions 25 and 26, will be blocked from 10pm till 5.30am on May 19 for NEAR Scheme operations.

M25 closures - Sunday, 19 May

The M25 anticlockwise carriageway from Junction 6 to Junction 5, including the Junction 6 entry slip, will again close from 10.30pm on May 19 till 5.30am on Monday, May 20 for barrier repairs.

Diversions will be via Local Authority roads.

In addition, the M25 anticlockwise Junction 15 to M4 Eastbound Junction 4B link road will be closed from 10.30pm till 5.30am on Monday for inspection of lamp column lanterns.

The diversion route will be via National Highways roads.

From 10.30pm onwards, the M25 anticlockwise carriageway from Junction 27 to Junction 25, as well as the Junction 26 entry slip road, will be closed.

This closure will again last until 5.30am on Monday, May 20, with traffic set to be diverted via National Highways and Local Authorities roads.

Also on Sunday, the M25 anticlockwise carriageway from Junction 13 to Junction 12, that also includes link roads to M3 Eastbound and Westbound Junction 2, will face closure from 10pm till 5.30am on May 20 for resurfacing and loop repairs.
