An emergency worker was reportedly assaulted as police dispersed boxing fans in the early hours of the morning.
Police officers swarmed into Bognor town centre in the early hours of Sunday after Tyson Fury's heavyweight title bout against Oleksandr Usyk attracted dozens of boxing fans watching in pubs.
Arrests were made and Sussex Police officers were forced to disperse groups from the town centre.
A spokesman for the force said: "As part of routine crime prevention policing, officers visited a number of venues in Chichester, Bognor Regis and the surrounding areas on Saturday evening.
"A small number of arrests were made for assault and assault on an emergency worker, and a section 34 dispersal order was authorised in Bognor Regis town centre to prevent further disorder."
Tyson Fury lost his historic title unification bout to Usyk in a split points decision.
