Customers can expect a host of treats at the opening of a new shop next week.

Dunelm will open the doors to its new Brighton store on May 30.

The 14,000 sq ft store is Dunelm’s 184th location and is in Brighton Retail Park, Carden Avenue, and has created more than 30 new jobs.

The store opening will take place at 9am, with the first 50 customers each receiving a goody bag filled with Dunelm products.

Customers can also expect a free ice cream while they are in the queue.

Hidden within the store will be 20 golden tickets, ranging from £5 to £20, for customers to hunt and redeem throughout the day.

The new store will stock a variety of products including bedding, kitchen and dining alongside Dorma and Made To Measure departments featuring curtains and blinds.

It will also have items from Dunelm’s Conscious Choice range with products made from at least 50 per cent recycled materials.

And there will be a textile takeback fixture, allowing customers to return unwanted textile products to be purposefully recycled or redistributed.

Daniel Bennett, regional manager at Brighton Dunelm, said: “We’re so excited to be opening our newest Dunelm store in Brighton. The team will be working incredibly hard over the next few weeks to get everything set up and ready, with some fun opening day surprises in store. We can’t wait to welcome the local community into our amazing new home.”

Local customers have been invited to join the Dunelm Brighton Community Support Facebook Group where they can keep up to date with everything going on in-store.
