Sun-seekers flocked to the beach yesterday to enjoy the warm weather, with the sunny spell expected to continue today.
Brighton seafront was packed with sunbathers, beach towels and deck chairs as revellers soaked up the glorious sunshine.
A handful of beachgoers even braved the water as temperatures reached 20C, according to the Met Office.
Others visited the Brighton Palace Pier, with local attractions on offer limited due to the unscheduled closing of the i360 with a broken door.
The spell of good weather is set to continue today as the Met Office forecasts sunshine and temperatures of up to 21C.
The weather forecaster also predicts that the sun will stay with us for the rest of the week, although with temperatures dropping to between 14C and 17C.
Brighton is expected to be bustling as people enjoy the weather and football fans are set to descend on the city this evening in support of the Three Lions for the Euros final.
