A man has died following an incident at a caravan park.
Sussex Police have confirmed a 68-year-old man from Surrey died yesterday, August 23, after an incident occurred at Gatwick Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite in Charlwood Road, Crawley, shortly after 2pm.
The man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The cause of the incident is being investigated.
Police said it will be a matter for the coroner.
A spokeswoman for the Caravan and Motorhome Club said: "The Club is aware of the tragic incident that took place at Gatwick Club Campsite and is supporting all those involved.
"The matter is in the hands of the authorities so we are unable to make any further comment at this time.
"Our thoughts and support are with all those affected."
