The suspect in a high-speed police chase through a Brighton estate remains at large after officers failed to find them.
A stolen BMW was reported to officers on Friday afternoon and police cars were trying to bring it to a stop.
The driver led police cars through Whitehawk in a high-speed blue light pursuit with some pedestrians saying they were nearly hit by the fleeing car.
But when officers finally caught up with the car in Upper Chalvington Place in Whitehawk, the driver was nowhere to be found.
