Brazen bike thieves were caught on camera stealing expensive electric bikes from outside a nursery.

CCTV footage shows the duo cycling away at pace after taking the bikes from railings by the Bright Start Nursery in Barrack Yard, Brighton.

Their escape route included cycling through the car park of the Prince Regent Leisure Centre and into Church Street.

Now police are appealing for help to identify the thieves, almost three months after the bikes were reported stolen.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police are appealing for information after two electric bikes were stolen from railings in Barracks Yard, Brighton, on June 9, between 3 and 4pm.

"If you are able to identify either of the men seen in the video, or have information to report, we ask that you contact police.
