A luxury makeup and skincare brand is planning to open a shop in a large empty unit.
Charlotte Tilbury, a celebrity makeup artist who has created looks for brands like Tom Ford and Stella McCartney, also has her own beauty brand.
The company is planning to open a store in Brighton's East Street.
The unit was home to fashion shops Sandro and Maje which closed in January leaving a large space on the corner near the taxi rank empty.
In new plans, submitted by Push Design, Charlotte Tilbury wants to upgrade the black and white shopfronts.
A spokesman for Push Design said: "The current store, while a heritage asset and with some notable architectural details, is in a poor condition with cracked glazing, decaying sills, stall risers and fascia. The project is a great opportunity to refurbish the storefront and provide a high quality location for the Charlotte Tilbury brand in Brighton.
"The proposal is to refurbish the existing storefront, upgrading some elements such as the glazing itself, so the appearance should be very similar to the existing store but with a new colour to fascia."

The brand also wants to spruce up the pilasters, the rectangular columns which protrude from the wall.
The shop would be painted in the brand's signature brown-pink shade.
Plans were submitted to Brighton and Hove City Council last month and there is currently a consultation period.
The unit is part of the Hanningtons Estate, where Korean beauty shop Pure Seoul opened recently and Oliver Bonas has moved into a bigger unit.
Claire Yeadon, asset manager at Redevco, previously said: “Since acquiring the Hanningtons Estate in 2015, Redevco has invested heavily in the infrastructure, design and configuration of the shops on North Street. We have attracted major brands such as Joe and the Juice, Watches of Switzerland and Hotel Chocolat.
"We’re delighted that Pure Seoul has joined us - a truly inspiring brand – and that Oliver Bonas has thrived in this location and has more than doubled its space.
“Every unit within Hanningtons is either occupied or under offer, which is testament to the strength of the location and its growth as Brighton’s new retail and cultural quarter."
