New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven Eastbourne establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
They all got the top mark of five. They are:
Nascafe in Royal Parade, rated on October 8
Pebbles Eastbourne at The Enterprise Centre Station Parade, rated on October 8
Pomodoro e Mozzarella in Cornfield Terrace, rated on October 7
First Serve Cafe at Old Town Recreation Ground Longland Road, rated on September 23

Alexandra Arms in Seaside, rated on October 17
Taco Bell in Terminus Road, rated on October 22
What the ratings mean:
There are six different ratings a venue can be awarded from 0 to 5.
5 - Hygiene standards are very good
4 – Hygiene standards are good
3 – Hygiene standards are generally satisfactory
2 – Some improvement is necessary
1 – Major improvement is necessary
0 – Urgent improvement is required
