A former Sussex Police officer accused of rape and sexual assault will appear in court.
Christopher Mallet, 40, will appear at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
The former Sussex Police constable based in Horsham, has been accused of attacking a woman he met on a dating app when he was off-duty in May 2019.

He was charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault following an investigation by the police watchdog, the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
The probe ended in March 2021 and the Crown Prosecution Service approved the charges after reviewing a file of evidence from the IOPC.
