A film crew for an ITV crime drama has been spotted in the city centre.

Sovereign House in Church Street, Brighton, was transformed for filming today, August 11.

A 'Saxonhurst Building Society' sign has appeared on the front of the building and filming equipment and lorries have occupied Tichborne Street.

TV and film security guards were stationed outside the building this morning.

The letter told residents that filming would take place on multiple dates in August.

In June, film crews were also seen at Shoreham Port in Southwick.

Resident Mark Mansbridge was visiting his boat at the port when he spotted the TV crews.

Past series have included a number of recognisable Sussex locations. These have included Brighton Palace Pier, the Royal Pavilion, Devil’s Dyke and Drusillas Zoo Park.
