A comedy tour is bringing 25 years of satire and impressions to the stage.

Dead Ringers Live is marking its silver anniversary with a full UK tour, stopping at Brighton Dome on Thursday, September 18.

Tickets for Dead Ringers Live at Brighton Dome are available from fieryentertainment.com.

The show will feature cast members Jon Culshaw, Jan Ravens, Lewis MacLeod and Duncan Wisbey, who will perform classic sketches and cutting-edge political and cultural satire in tribute to the late Bill Dare, the show's creator and producer who died in March.

Mr Dare was also the creative force behind other iconic BBC comedy series, including The Now Show, Spitting Image, and The Mary Whitehouse Experience.

Dead Ringers, known for its sharp political and cultural satire delivered through impressions, is part of BBC Radio 4’s Friday Night Comedy.

The live tour promises to bring the same "wit, mischief and the sharpest impressions in the business" to audiences across the country.

Jan Ravens is a familiar voice on Radio 4, regularly appearing on Just A Minute, I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue, and The Week in Westminster, as well as in numerous dramas and comedies.

Her theatre credits include seasons at Chichester Festival Theatre, Manchester Royal Exchange and the RSC, while on television she has appeared in Hebburn, Skins and Midsomer Murders.

Ms Ravens has also earned a reputation as a game-show champion, having won Mastermind, two Pointless trophies and first place on Richard Osman’s House of Games.

Jon Culshaw is widely regarded as one of the UK’s top impressionists, with credits including Spitting Image, The Impressions Show and The Secret World.

He has also earned acclaim as an actor, most recently for his solo performance in Les Dawson: Flying High, which toured nationally after debuting at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Lewis MacLeod is an actor, comedian and mimic whose screen credits include The Crown, Endeavour and Toast of London.

He is known to younger audiences as the voice of Postman Pat, and to Star Wars fans as Sebulba in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.

Mr MacLeod also worked alongside Steve Wright on BBC Radio 2, famously impersonating Jeremy Vine live on air.

Duncan Wisbey’s career spans radio, television and theatre, with appearances on Alistair McGowan’s Big Impression, The Legend Of Dick And Dom and Close To The Enemy.

His theatre credits include productions with the RSC and the National Theatre, as well as recent work at the Bridge Theatre and @sohoplace.

Dead Ringers returned to BBC Radio 4 in June for its latest series, but the live tour is a separate event and will not be for broadcast.
