Gatwick Airport has revealed it has launched a new route to a popular spot in Asia.
Norse Atlantic's new direct service to Bangkok, Thailand, is the airline’s first route between the UK and Asia.
Bosses say Thailand has "long been a favourite destination for UK passengers" and that the new route is a "significant milestone for both the airline and London Gatwick".

The service will be flying passengers to the Asian capital four times every week, having launched on Sunday (October 26).
The new route is a long-haul flight aboard Norse’s modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet.
Gatwick says passenger growth to Asian destinations has gone up this summer, with routes to China and Singapore recording a 16% year-on-year increase.
Services to Central Asia also saw an upturn of 25% compared with 2024.
Norse Atlantic already includes direct flights to New York, Orlando, Cape Town and Los Angeles from Gatwick Airport.
