Brighton Grosvenor Casino Seafront to vary its licence

Grosvenor Casino Seafront, located in Grand Junction Road, is seeking to vary the casino premises licence into an extended converted casino licence.

Grosvenor Casinos Limited, based in Maidenhead, has submitted the application, which includes an amended plan for the premises.

However, there are no major physical changes to the premises, and the overall licensable area of the entire casino has not changed.

Any of the following persons may make representations in writing to the licensing authority about the application: A person who lives sufficiently close to the premises to be likely to be affected by the authorised activities; A person who has business interests that might be affected by the authorised activities; A person who represents someone in any of the above two categories.

Any representations must be made by the following date: Sunday, November 30.

The application has been made under the Gambling Act 2005 and is intended to vary the casino premises licence into an extended converted casino licence, pursuant to Part 5 of Schedule 1 of The Gambling Act 2005 (Mandatory and Default Conditions) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007.

It is an offence under section 342 of the Gambling Act 2005 if a person, without reasonable excuse, gives to a licensing authority for a purpose connected with that Act information which is false or misleading.
