The news is out, Jet2 is coming to Gatwick Airport, offering 29 new locations from the Sussex spot.
While there are 29 announced, there are likely to be new routes added, and there are plenty of places that Argus readers have said they want to travel to.
We decided to ask readers what new routes they would like to see added to Jet2's list of locations at Gatwick Airport.

France
France has many great cities and places to visit, with some Argus readers keen on these being added to Jet2's new program at Gatwick.
Popular spots with holidaygoers include Paris, Marseille, Nice and more, with the Alps also a popular spot in the region.
Jet2 does offer some French locations elsewhere in the country, so this is a possiblity in the future.
Sicily

While Naples and Verona are being offered as Jet2 flight locations from Gatwick next year, some readers mentioned Sicily as another spot they'd like to see added.
Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea located just off the "toe" of the Italian boot.
With a diverse landscape that includes Mount Etna, as well as Greek temples, beautiful beaches, and vibrant cities, you can see why this location is so saught after.
Belgium
Similar to France, no routes are yet being planned for Belgium, a spot which some readers said they'd like to be added to the Jet2 lineup.
Spots such as Antwerp and Belgium are popular with travellers.
From visiting Brussels' Grand-Place and Atomium and the country's historic castles to sampling Belgian beer and chocolate, there is plenty to do.
Edinburgh
Despite many routes abroad, some readers were keen on UK ones too, with Edinburgh mentioned by some.
Flights to the Scottish capital would be a short distance and would be great for a weekend trip, with Glasgow another destination also mentioned by readers.
From seeing Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse to exploring the National Museum of Scotland and World of Illusions, there is plenty to do on a visit here.
Dublin
Sticking to the theme of nearby routes, despite not technically in the UK, flights to the Irish capital of Dublin were also a keen choice from readers.
Like Edinburgh, Dublin would be a good choice for shorter breaks, packed with things to do on a weekend trip.
Other Irish destinations, such as Cork, were also suggested.

Jet2 will launch operations at Gatwick Airport with six aircraft in March 2026.

The launch will also create more than 300 local jobs, including pilots, engineers and cabin crew.
Jet2 will offer flights to 29 "sunshine destinations" from March, with the first taking off for Tenerife on March 26.
Other destinations include Spain, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Malta, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria and Cyprus.
