Gatwick Airport already has an array of exciting destinations to choose from, but there are some new services you may want to try that have been added for or will be coming in 2026.
New routes or airlines being added are often added to airports to expand their offering to customers and to help with economic growth.
As well as exciting new routes added to Gatwick Airport for 2026, the airport will also welcome Jet2 to its company lineup.
3 new services you can enjoy from Gatwick Airport in 2026
Frankfurt, Germany
German airline Condor is expanding its route network and will fly from Gatwick to Frankfurt this year.
The German carrier will be flying three times a day to Frankfurt from April.
It will be the first time that the British capital becomes part of Condor’s network.
The new route to London Gatwick will "offer business travellers optimal access to the Greater London area as well as flexible options for day or short trips"
It will also allow leisure travellers to "benefit from an attractive connection for weekend getaways to one of Europe’s most visited cities".
Sharjah, UAE
Gatwick Airport will launch new twice-daily flights to Sharjah in the UAE in March.
Operated by Air Arabia, it will be the only direct service between this United Arab Emirates destination and the UK.
The new route will operate on Airbus A321LR aircraft and will increase the total weekly flights between London Gatwick and the Middle East to 80.
Connectivity to the Middle East is in high demand from London Gatwick, with the airport reporting a 22.7% increase in passenger numbers this summer
Multiple carriers have increased capacity to the region, with Wizz Air launching its XLR services to Medina and Jeddah, Qatar Airways operating larger 787-9 aircraft to Doha and Saudia increasing frequency of its new Neom Bay route.
Paris, France
A new direct service to Paris with Air France is also launching in March.
Air France, named Best Airline in Western Europe at the 2025 Skytrax Awards, will operate two flights per day with the Airbus A220 between London Gatwick and Charles de Gaulle.
It will offer passengers greater access to the French capital, as well as its global network of nearly 170 destinations across 73 countries, via its Paris hub.
Passengers connecting to intercontinental flights via Paris can also benefit from Air France’s latest cabin innovations and signature French service.

Jet2 coming to Gatwick in 2026
Arguably, the most exciting news regarding Gatwick Airport in 2026 is the arrival of Jet2.
The UK’s third-largest airline will fly to 29 sunshine destinations from Gatwick from March.
It will mark the largest new-based airline at Gatwick this century and will create more than 300 direct jobs across flight deck, cabin crew, engineering and ground operations, plus hundreds more through the wider supply chain.
Jet2 has already put a significant programme on sale for its first summer of operations, with 29 sunshine destinations available.

The first flight from London Gatwick will take off for Tenerife on March 26.
A fleet of six aircraft will fly passengers to a wide choice of destinations across mainland Spain, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Malta, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria and Cyprus.
