A care home was filled with smiles, music and laughter during a recent visit from two talented young performers.
Lydfords care home in East Hoathly, which is run by Barchester Healthcare, welcomed schoolboys Ralph and Albert from BEDES for a special musical performance.
The boys impressed residents and guests with a variety of pieces, including the Star Wars intro, performed on trumpet and saxophone in the home’s main lounge.
Anthony Butler, general manager at Lydfords, said: “Our residents and guests had a wonderful afternoon listening to the wonderful performers. We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Lydfords as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents, and this was one of our favourites!”

Following the performance, the boys spent half an hour enjoying tea, cake and conversation with residents.
One resident said: “Theyre such beautiful instruments which you don’t tend to hear too often so were very lucky to have them visit and perform in our home.”
Lydfords care home provides residential care for 36 residents from respite care to long term stays.
