Gatwick is preparing for its busiest summer in years, with a record number of airlines and destinations, marking its broadest network since 2019.

The airport will serve more than 230 destinations across Europe, North America, the Caribbean, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Among them is the exciting news that Jet2 is joining Gatwick's fleet, operating 29 routes throughout the summer season.

Gatwick Airport's new airlines and routes for 2026

A total of 62 airlines will operate from Gatwick this summer, including eight newcomers.

The new airlines are:

  • Jet2
  • AirAsia X
  • Condor
  • Air Arabia
  • Air France
  • Eurowings
  • Animawings
  • Beijing Capital Airlines

Jet2 will operate a total of 29 routes throughout the summer season, across Spain, Turkiye, Portugal, Cyprus, Malta, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria and Croatia.

As well as new routes, many existing airlines are also expanding their services.

Royal Air Maroc will begin flights to Tetouan, Morocco, twice weekly from March 29, with Norwegian launching a new route to Aalborg, Denmark, starting April 2.

Air Transat will introduce a service to Ottawa, Canada, beginning May 15, and SWISS will increase its Zurich route to twice daily from March 29.

Emirates recently launched its fourth daily flight to Dubai, operated on the Airbus A350 - the first to serve England.

The additional service reintroduces Premium Economy for Gatwick passengers and offers the latest departing Dubai–Europe flight of any airline.

Record summer coming for Gatwick Airport

The 230-plus destinations on offer this summer mark the most since 2019 at Gatwick Airport.
