The Queen visited a Sussex racecourse to celebrate the work of a charity.
Her Majesty Queen Camilla attended Jamie’s Farm Raceday today (February 23) at Plumpton Racecourse.
The special race day was in support of charity, Jamie's Farm, which helps young people at risk of educational exclusion by offering farm-based residential programmes.
The charity has 7 locations across the UK including a site in Lewes.
The annual day was founded by British horse racing journalist Brough Scott MBE, after he visited the farm in 2021 and was struck by the impact of its work.

Jamie Feilden, co-founder of Jamie’s Farm, said: "Brough’s remarkable passion since first visiting Jamie’s Farm Lewes, together with the support of his friends, has helped our Plumpton Raceday raise vital funds over the past three years.
"This year is especially exciting as we welcomed our patron, HM The Queen, fulfilling a long-held wish of Brough and the committee.”
Queen Camilla, who has served as patron of Jamie’s Farm since 2014, spent the afternoon meeting students, alumni, staff, and supporters of the charity.
The visit was also particularly meaningful for her Majesty due to her personal connection to the area, having spent part of her childhood in Plumpton.
