Olly Alexander said he was 'very proud' to run the Brighton Half Marathon for a cause close to his heart.
The Bafta nominated actor and pop star started the event on Brighton seafront today, which saw 9,600 people take part.
He finished the race 5058th, clocking in at 02:03:43. Take a look at the 100 fastest finishers here.
Speaking to The Argus on the starting line, he said: "I’m so excited, this is my first half marathon - I never expected to start one so it’s an honour.
"I can’t wait. It’s definitely been a challenge the training. I’m not a runner until recently so it’s a goal I’ve set myself. I’m going to be very proud when I finish it. I’m a bit scared but I’m excited."
The It's a Sin actor is raising money and awareness for Brighton-based charity Sussex Beacon, which supports people living with HIV.
He said: "I absolutely love the Sussex Beacon. I visited them for the first time about a year ago.
"I met the team and service users, I got to know what they do as a charity and how vital they are to the LGBTQ community.
"I think they’re amazing, so I’m very proud to be running with them."
