Young people are to take charge of Brighton Festival events.
On Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, Brighton Dome Studio Theatre will host a series of performances, talks and exhibitions curated by young people from across Sussex.
The event, known as the Youth Curated Weekend, promises to bring a fresh perspective to the festival.

The festivities will begin with Sounds Like Us, presented by Create Music, showcasing emerging artistic and musical talent.
On Sunday morning, a free visual art exhibition will open in the Studio Theatre, featuring a variety of works from young artists.
These pieces cover themes such as identity, community, memory and nature.
The evening will see performers aged 14 to 19 take the stage for a night of music, poetry and performance, inspired by the 1960s.
Monday will see We, Generate, an event presented by Brighton-based arts charity Lighthouse's Future Creative Leaders.
At 2pm, Dr Fez Sibanda will lead a discussion on inheritance and legacy, joined by a panel of activists, community leaders and writers.
At 7pm, Steam Down will headline an evening of intergenerational music-making.
The Gallery Bar at Brighton Dome will also become a gallery of young people's artwork, created in workshops with Art in Mind.
