A campaign has secured free travel and museum entry for pupils to see a major exhibition.
More than 1,000 pupils from 1066 Country will be able to visit the British Museum's Bayeux Tapestry exhibition thanks to 1,066 free rail tickets provided by South Eastern Railway.
The tickets will allow pupils from Hastings, Rye and nearby areas to attend the London exhibition, alongside free priority entry.

The scheme follows a campaign led by Helena Dollimore, MP for Hastings and Rye, aimed at breaking down barriers to participation for children.
Ms Dollimore said: "Although Hastings has often been at the centre of historical events, we have not always felt the benefits.
"That is why I have been campaigning since the Bayeux Tapestry exhibition was announced to make sure that 1066 Country residents, and especially our schoolchildren, are not priced out of seeing this vital part of their heritage by the cost of a museum or train ticket.
"The 1,066 free rail tickets, together with the free priority tickets for local schools, will help local children from my area connect with the story that put Hastings on the world map and experience first-hand one of the most significant cultural events of our generation."
