Crowds gathered to celebrate the dedication and sacrifice of military personnel at a day of tribute.
Armed Forces Day was held on June 27, at The Steyne in Worthing, running from 9.45am to 4pm.
The event began with a marching band and featured live music, stalls, demonstrations from serving personnel, cadets and civilians and a Battle of Britain flypast.
Caroline Baxter, West Sussex County Councillor for Worthing East, said: "It was great to see so many people out showing their support and thanks to all who have served or are currently serving in our forces.
"It was a pleasure to meet so many veterans, cadets, volunteers and community groups, and to be there for the flypast."
Cllr Baxter attended the event alongside fellow county councillor John Turley and thanked the organisers for a "fantastic" day of tribute.
She also thanked Mark, chair of the Worthing Veterans Association, and his team for showing them around the event.
Organisers described the day as a success and extended their gratitude to everyone who attended.
A spokesman said: "What a fantastic day at Worthing Armed Forces Day. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event."
