A new award scheme has wrapped up with a heartfelt thank you event.
The inaugural Eastbourne Community Awards, a partnership between Coda Pharmacy and Bournefree Magazine, concluded with a celebratory lunch hosted by Malayalam Restaurant on Victoria Place, which generously provided a free meal for 50 guests.
Colin Dang, head pharmacist at Coda Pharmacy, said: "It was a marvellous lunch, and even more evidence of how successful the Awards have been.
"Coda Pharmacy is incredibly proud to have played a leading role in the first ever Eastbourne Community Awards.
"We have met some incredible people and been able to tell some incredible stories. And that's what we aim to do at Coda Pharmacy - support and when possible make a difference to people's lives.

"The Awards have had a huge positive impact on our community, and we are proud to have played our part in that."
Attendees included Eastbourne Mayor, Margaret Bannister, some of the winners and sponsors and representatives from organisations who may wish to be involved in 2027.
Chris Trinh, superintendent pharmacist at Coda, said: "It was a very moving lunch, the energy and positivity in the restaurant was truly inspiring.
"We all want to say a huge thank you to the team at Malayalam for hosting us in such a fantastic way. Nothing was too much bother for them, and I would firmly recommend them to anybody."
Coda Pharmacy is based at Westham Business Park in Pevensey.
