A care home has recognised the community spirit and support shown by neighbouring businesses.
Merriman Grange in Worthing presented five business leaders with 5-Star Networker mugs at its monthly breakfast networking event, held to celebrate attendees who have supported the gatherings for six consecutive months.
Jay Finch, home admissions advisor at Merriman Grange, said: "When we launched our Breakfast Networking Meetings, our goal was simply to bring local people together and create a space where businesses and charities could make meaningful connections.
"Seeing the events grow month after month has been incredibly rewarding and we're so grateful for the continued support from everyone who attends.

"Presenting our five regular attendees with their 5-Star Networker mugs was a small way of saying thank you for helping to make these mornings such a success.
"It's fantastic to see new partnerships, friendships and opportunities being created and we're excited to continue growing this wonderful community."
The events are held on the second Friday of each month and attract 40 to 50 attendees, including businesses, charities and community groups.
Merriman Grange says the breakfasts are part of its wider objective to foster relationships not only within the care home but throughout the community.
