A childhood dream has come true for one young dancer, thanks to a night of inspiration at a family holiday park.
Ben Winchcombe first discovered his passion for dance at the age of seven during a Diversity workshop at Butlin’s Bognor Regis in 2014.
Now, 12 years later, he has joined Diversity on stage as a full member of the group, performing in their exclusive Time Capsule show.
Ashley Banjo, MBE, said: "To see Ben go from a seven-year-old taking part in one of our dance classes to standing beside us as a full member of Diversity is incredibly special. "His journey shows what can happen when talent, hard work and opportunity come together."
Mr Banjo describes Ben’s story to the audience before childhood photos are shown on-screen and Ben appears on stage.
Mr Winchcombe said: "I remember being at Butlin’s on holiday, excited to do a workshop with Diversity. "I’ve always loved dancing and they really inspired me so returning 12 years later as part of the group feels surreal. "Seeing the photographs on the big screens before taking to the stage is an emotional moment."
The show is included in the price of a break.
