An MP will visit a community hub to learn more about the support it offers to families.

John Milne, MP, will visit St Mark’s Church in Horsham on August 21.

The visit will showcase the church’s Family Hub and how it supports families facing a variety of challenges.

The Family Hub offers weekly support sessions, a toy library, the Holbrook Heart Café and a SEND peer group.

It also runs holiday clubs and parenting workshops led by professionals.

Counselling support is available for families dealing with mental health pressures, financial hardship and social isolation.

Mr Milne will meet with volunteers and families to hear first-hand how the hub is making a difference in people’s daily lives.

Volunteers play a key role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for families at the hub.

A church leader at St Mark’s said: "We’re delighted to welcome John Milne MP to St Mark’s.

" Our vision is to be a place where families feel known, supported and encouraged.

"It’s a privilege to see the community coming together at St Mark’s Family Hub and benefiting from our services."

The visit will highlight the hub’s impact and the ways in which community support can strengthen families.
