A festival’s 10th anniversary edition has been hailed a success after drawing thousands for a day of music, food and fun.
The Weald on the Field free community event took place on Saturday, August 8, in Uckfield and featured a full programme of entertainment, food stalls and activities for all ages.
Holly Goring, town clerk at Uckfield Town Council, said: "What a day it was on Luxford Field.
"Thank you to everyone involved in making our annual Weald on the Field event such a success.
"As ever, it is a real example of team work, with support from volunteers, councillors, staff, local businesses and local suppliers, as well as the wider community who bring such a great atmosphere.

Live music acts included The Tannens, Pentacle Drummers, The Kytes, Dominic Uppiah, VENN5, The Midnight Project and headliners The Kavemen.
Thousands of people filled the field to enjoy the performances, along with food and drink stalls, crafts and family-friendly activities.
A highlight for younger visitors was a visit from Poppet, the purple character from The Big One Hundred.
Early estimates suggest this year’s turnout was one of the highest in the festival’s history, helped by bright sunshine and a packed schedule.
