Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash on Steyning Bypass

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision on the A283 Steyning Bypass, Steyning, shortly before 6pm on August 26.

Police said the crash involved a Volkswagen ID3 and a Kawasaki motorcycle at the junction with Canons Way.

The motorcyclist, a 43-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
