Two drug dealers have been sentenced.
Ryan Bennett-Morris, 27, and Alexander Lockhart, 46, operated the KY Line, a drugs network distributing class A substances across West Sussex.
Both men were arrested in Worthing after police executed warrants at two addresses.
Bennett-Morris attempted to flee but was detained at the scene, where officers found wraps of class A drugs.
Lockhart acted as a runner for Bennett-Morris, helping to operate the supply network, police said
At Lewes Crown Court on August 18, Bennett-Morris, of Byron Avenue, Coulsdon, Croydon, admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine between August 2025 and June 2026, as well as possession of both drugs with intent to supply.
Lockhart, of Tarring Road, Worthing, admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine.
Bennett-Morris was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.
Lockhart received a three-year suspended prison sentence, along with nine months of drug rehabilitation treatment and 20 rehabilitation activity requirement sessions.
Detective Inspector Antony Preston said: "This was a significant supply of cocaine and heroin into West Sussex.
"Our officers worked alongside partner agencies including the Metropolitan Police to ensure we gathered full evidence of Bennett-Morris and Lockhart’s involvement in the KY Line.
"We are determined to disrupt the supply of class A drugs which cause so much harm in our communities, and to relentlessly pursue offenders."
