A confetti cannon is set to mark the grand opening of a vibrant new children’s attraction.

Meridian Mayhem, in Peacehaven, will officially open its doors on Saturday, August 29.

The centre is operated by Wave Active and is based at the former Sky High Trampoline Park.

Duncan Kerr, chief executive of Wave Active, said: "The venue has been designed with energy and fun at its heart, and our team is excited to help deliver a programme that offers something for everyone.

"Saturday is a great opportunity for people to explore the space, meet the team and get a taste of the activities and events that will be coming over the months ahead."

More information is available at meridianmayhem.co.uk.

The centre features a dynamic play frame for children up to 12 years old, offering a safe and active environment for climbing and exploring.

For older visitors, Meridian Mayhem Multiball transforms digital gaming into physical play using an interactive wall.

Players can throw, hit and move through a variety of fast-paced games and challenges.

Councillor Johnny Denis, cabinet member for tourism and leisure at Lewes District Council, said: "Our community infrastructure levy contribution of £127,000 has helped our partners at Wave Active to create a fantastic new attraction and something very special for families.

"I am looking forward to seeing the place buzzing with lots of noise and fast-paced fun and laughter."

The venue will host events and activities throughout the year and also offers children’s party packages for those under 12.
