A care home worker has been recognised for her dedication after reaching 10 years of service.

Kirsty, a food and beverages assistant at Westergate House in Fontwell, has spent the past decade supporting residents in the Goodwood Memory Lane community, helping with meal choices and refreshments.

Paul Middleton-Russell, senior general manager at Westergate House, said: "Thank you Kirsty, you are a valued staff member and a great support to our residents in Memory Lane.

"We are very lucky to have you working with our wonderful kitchen team at Westergate House, and look forward to working with you for many years to come."

Kirsty’s favourite part of her role is interaction with the residents. She loves the special moments, where a smile or a laugh brighten the day.

Westergate House has a number of long-serving staff members, with others having reached milestones of 10, 15, 20 and even 25 years of service.
