A cosmetics retailer is hosting a free party with hair styling, massages and makeup.

The event, titled Beats 'n' Barnets, will take place at Lush HairLab Brighton on Trafalgar Street on Saturday, October 24, from 12pm to 4pm.

Organised by Lush HairLab, the event promises a day of beauty experiences and feel-good vibes for all ages.

Daisy Evans, hair lead at Lush, said: "At a time when so much of our social lives happen through a screen, we are celebrating the joy of getting ready together in real life.

"Beats 'n' Barnets is all about that getting-ready-together energy we love so much – music on, people chatting, swapping ideas, trying something new and hyping each other up.

"It's about creating a fun space for people to feel connected, confident and excited for what's ahead."

Guests can enjoy complimentary hair styling, makeup, scalp, hand and arm massages, live product-making and a reflective area to write a "love letter" to their hair.

Personalised haircare advice, free samples of Lush’s freshest cosmetics and a party soundtrack curated by DJ Xan will also be on offer.

The event is part of Lush Fest, which is running from August to October 2026 across ten of Lush’s UK stores.
