A new Place Board has launched to champion growth and collaboration across the district.
The Chichester Place Board, part of the wider Chichester Story initiative, held its first meeting on October 14, bringing together representatives from business, culture, tourism and education.
It aims to promote the district through a unified message and shared identity.
Councillor Adrian Moss, leader of Chichester District Council and cabinet member for regeneration and property, said: "The launch of the Chichester Story initiative has demonstrated the huge amount of enthusiasm that businesses, organisations and individuals have to work together and champion our area.

"It was really encouraging to see that same commitment reflected in the discussions at the Place Board meeting.
"The wide range of organisations represented on the Board highlights the shared ambition that exists to showcase everything the Chichester area has to offer."
The board will meet quarterly to oversee the delivery of the Chichester Story and support activities that promote Chichester as a place to live, work, study, visit and invest.
It has agreed to form four sub-groups focused on marketing and communications, business growth, the Chichester Vision and the new Chichester Ambassadors group.
These groups will help shape and deliver projects aligned with the Place Board’s objectives.
