Shoppers have been evacuated from a supermarket because of a suspected chemical leak.
Fire crews were called to the Somerfield Store, Anchor Springs in Littlehampton just after 12.30pm today after a refrigerator leak on the roof has reportedly entered the air-conditioning.
A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “The store has been evacuated as a precaution, while we wait to see what it is.”
About 30 firefighters are at the scene from Littlehampton, Worthing and Bognor.
