More than 300 people have signed a petition to cut the speed limit on a country lane near their homes.
Residents at Deanland Wood Park, Ripe, near Hailsham, are protesting against a 60mph speed limit which they say makes it dangerous for them to leave the neighbourhood.
The petition, which has been compiled by three Chalvington and Ripe parish councillors, calls for a slower speed limit in Deanland Road. It will be presented to East Sussex County Council on December 9.
