“Baby, it’s cold outside,” crooned Dean Martin, (Mark Adams) to the glamorous Burelli sisters in a sensational recreation of a typical hot and glitzy Las Vegas evening in the 1950s or 1960s. The Rat Pack, a name coined by Lauren Bacall to describe the fellas after a night on the tiles, also starred Frank Sinatra (Chris Mann) and Sammy Davis Jr, (Giles Terera ).

This complementary trio hopped, swang and bantered, just as they did in the day, bringing the pack’s panache to the stage, as well as their songs.

Directed by Mitch Sebastian, this stylish Christmas tour embraced many classics, such as Frank’s New York, New York, Sammy’s Mr Bojangles and Dean’s Amore. They also included amusing renditions of Christmas songs, such as Rudolph The (drinking) Red-Nosed Reindeer, with typical Dean Martin quips about boozing.

The cast were accompanied by a talented 15-piece orchestra in a faithful tribute to three legendary entertainers.
