In these economically tight times and ecologically aware world, buying new clothes shipped in from all four courners of the world is becoming a bit of an anathema.
So the new phenomenon of swishing has come in to ease the environmental and cash conscience of clothes-lovers.
The idea of swishing is to get together with a group of friends to swap gorgeous clothes and have a party at the same time.
Those taking part have to bring between one and three good clean pieces of clothing on hangers, plus shoes or accessories they want to give to a new and more appreciative home.
In return, those coming to the event bearing gifts can go home with a new look themselves.
The ticket price includes a glass of wine and a mince pie, and the chance to go home with three new pieces.
Because of the limited space available, places must be pre-booked by calling the number below.
