A night of pre-Christmas Saturnalian excess is being promised by The Twilight Club tonight. Regular hosts Dr David Bramwell and Lady Rachel Blackman are being joined by special guest curator and dance tutor Dorothy’s Shoes, most often seen at Ragroof Theatre events, for a night exploring The Mating Game.
The night is set to feature dancing, flirting and frolicking. Dorothy’s Shoes – also known as Dorothy Max Prior – assisted by Matthew Blacklock and Tomathy Adams will be leading visitors through The Gentlemen’s Tango, Instant Paso Doble For Bullish Lovers, The All-Lady Rumba and The Love Triangle Mambo-Cha.
The night, which tonight has a dress code of louche elegance, is designed to be an interactive experience, so guests are encouraged to participate.
Special guests on the night will also include music by Foster and Gilvan, the naughty but nice tabletop Gravy Boat Puppets and DJs The Wind Up Brothers with their awesome collection of 78s.
