After A series of interviews over the past couple of days the head teacher of Falmer School Mr Stuart McLauglin has been offered the post as The Principal of Portslade Community College.
If he accepts the post he will follow in the footsteps of Mike Tait who retired at the end of last term.
The position is vastly diferent from most secondary schools as it involves the Community Education Department,Library along with the Sports and Youth Centre . Mr McLaughlin is expected to take up his post in September
He will be only the fourth head at the Community College since it opened witb it's first Head Mr Bob Glover
