I THINK Heather Mills’ proposal to open a vegan restaurant at Hove Lagoon is a totally ridiculous idea.
I own a beach hut fairly near the lagoon and also take my dog for walks there.
In the summer, the restaurant is always packed with families and many young children. I cannot believe that parents will want to buy solely vegan food for their young families.
My fellow beach hut owners often pop along there for some snack or other. Certainly not vegan stuff.
Why can’t she take her idea to a part of town where vegan people can choose to go.
The café has a captive holiday clientele, and should have a varied menu to suit all palates.
