A woman had to be rescued by firefighters after a small fire broke out in the kitchen of her home.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to A’Becket Gardens, Durrington, Worthing, at 6.49pm today.
Crews entered the single storey bungalow using breathing apparatus and brought the 52-year-old woman to safety. She was taken to Worthing Hospital for treatment.
